Millennia was born out of the recognition that federal agencies need an easy-to-use vehicle for procuring high-quality information technology (IT) support services. At this time in the rapidly evolving federal marketplace, government agencies are seeking to use IT to improve efficiency, provide better service, and address the overall challenge to "work smarter, not harder."

The General Services Administration (GSA) Millennia contract offers a unique opportunity for federal agencies worldwide to quickly and efficiently purchase SAIC's IT services in software engineering, telecommunications, and systems integration, among others. The contract also contains provisions allowing agencies to purchase new technology as it is developed.

Scope

As one of the worlds leading technology companies, with an established track record of performance with GSA, SAIC is well positioned to support the Millennia contract over its 10-year performance period from April 1999 - April 2009. SAIC has been awarded over $1.5B during the first 6 years of the contract and continues to be either the number 1 or 2 industry partner in terms of dollars awarded.
